Car Service & Repair · Repairs
Car not starting in Ahmedabad
Servicing, cleaning and repairs at a garage near you; breakdowns are fixed where the car stands. The garage may offer to drop it home. This page is about one job in that category — its fixed price and where it sits in the catalogue.
What this job covers
Car not starting is one of 20 Car Service & Repair jobs in the HomyZone catalogue for Ahmedabad, listed under Repairs.
The platform price is ₹799. HomyZone sets it, not the professional, and it covers the listed job only — anything outside that scope is agreed separately and may be declined.
Basic to comprehensive periodic service, oil and filter changes, repairs for electrical, radiator, brake, suspension and clutch faults, AC service and gas refill, tyre, alignment and battery work, and washing, interior shampoo and detailing. Bookings name the car by registration number. You take the car to the garage that accepts, the nearest one first; a car that will not start, a puncture or a flat battery is fixed where the car stands instead.
Bike and car bookings name the vehicle by its registration number, and that is the vehicle the professional services. Servicing is a garage visit: the app shows you the garage that accepted, and you bring the vehicle in within an hour — a breakdown (not starting, a puncture, a flat battery) is fixed where the vehicle stands instead. Nothing is collected from your home. When the vehicle is ready, the garage may offer to drop it back for ₹99 for a bike or ₹199 for a car, paid in cash when you receive it; you can accept or decline in the app, and collecting it yourself costs nothing.
How this one works
Matched on this exact job
The request goes only to professionals who have ticked this specific job — not everyone in the trade. Whoever accepts already does this particular work.
You start the job
Work cannot begin until you hand over your start PIN. It confirms the right person reached the right address, and the job clock cannot start without you.
You close the job
The job stays open until you inspect the work and share the completion PIN. If you are paying cash, that is when it changes hands.
Know when they'll arrive
Once a professional accepts you see the time they promise to reach you by, then their distance by road and a list of what to keep ready. More than 15 minutes late and HomyZone adds 30 coins to your wallet; 30 minutes late and you can cancel free. If they never arrive, it is a no-show against them, and you can get another professional or cancel, at no cost.
